Onsite Online Classes

If you have a small group—1 to 4 people—that need to take a class, you can arrange an Onsite Online class.

This is essentially a standard Live Class Online that is arranged solely for your organization. You sign your people up for the class and forward to me a list of the students; About a week before class, I’ll ship you student notebooks and handouts that will be used in class.

We then meet online at the scheduled date and time.

Onsite Online classes are taught for a fee based on the numebr of students, as outlined below.

Onsite Online Fees

Onsite Online classes are charged a fee dependent upon the number of students in the class.
Please note that Live Onsite Online classes have a maximum size of four students; if you have more people than that, you should arrange a traditional on-site class, here.

Student Requirements

Below are the equipment requirements for an Onsite Online class.

  • One computer per student; Each computer must have the following installed on it:
    • Windows XP or later or Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
    • PostScript classes: The full Adobe Acrobat package (including Distiller) installed on each computer; alternatively you may have Jaws Systems' PDF Creator and the Acrobat Reader installed on each computer.
    • PDF classes: Acrobat Reader 6 or later installed on each computer.
  • A reasonably fast internet connection; something comparable to a typical cable modem is needed.
  • Additional free software will be supplied by Acumen Training.

Payment Terms

Class fees are billed net 30. The client will be billed for the class fee the week before the beginning of class.

Other Notes

Onsite Online
Outside the U.S.

There is no distinction made as to the locations of the individual students in an Onsite Online class. Attendees may be located anywhere in the world.

Time Zone

Class hours can be in any time zone you choose. Presumably this will be your home time zone, but if attendees are located in several places, you will need to pick a time zone.

Attendance

Students should treat Onsite Online classes as the real classes they are. Agreed-upon class times will be followed with reasonable precision, so students should plan to be at their computers at the proper time, as they would any other class.
